Dyfed Powys Local Resilience Forum

The Dyfed Powys Local Resilience Forum covers the Dyfed Powys area. The gov.uk list places it under Wales and names the area only as Dyfed Powys; forum areas follow police areas.

The forum's secretariat is the Dyfed Powys LRF Partnership Team, which sits in the strategic co-ordination centre at Dyfed Powys Police headquarters at Llangunnor, Carmarthen.

The forum publishes a community risk register. A community risk register is the forum's published list of the risks it has identified for its area, the risks its emergency plans are written against. The gov.uk list gives the same address in the civil contingencies pages of the Dyfed Powys Police website for the forum and for the register.

Those pages are where residents find local advice on preparing for emergencies in the Dyfed Powys area. The gov.uk list also points to the Wales Resilience website at gov.wales for how the Welsh Government, the emergency services, local authorities and health authorities work together. Local resilience forums are explained on the who does what page.
