North Yorkshire Local Resilience Forum

The North Yorkshire Local Resilience Forum covers North Yorkshire. It is one of four forums the Cabinet Office lists for Yorkshire and the Humber, and the gov.uk list says that forum areas are based on police areas.

Its secretariat sits with North Yorkshire Council, at County Hall in Northallerton. The forum's web pages are on the council's site, northyorks.gov.uk.

The forum publishes a community risk register on those pages, on a page about the risks in North Yorkshire. A community risk register is the forum's published list of the risks it has identified for its area, so that residents and local organisations can see what is most likely to affect them and prepare for it.

The forum's pages on the council website are where residents of North Yorkshire find local advice on preparing for emergencies. Local resilience forums are explained on the who does what page.
