Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland.
- Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland is not covered by the England and Wales list of local resilience forums. The gov.uk page says that details for Emergency Preparedness Groups (EPGs) in Northern Ireland are available from the Northern Ireland Civil Contingencies Policy Branch, and links its civil contingencies page on the Executive Office website. The gov.uk page gives no count of the groups and no contact details for them, and this site does not add one.
The Executive Office page describes the Civil Contingencies Policy Branch (CCPB), which works across the public sector to promote and encourage the development of effective emergency preparedness. It says the branch supports the Civil Contingencies Group (Northern Ireland), the principal strategic civil contingencies preparedness body for the public sector, and that the branch has produced an overarching framework of civil contingencies policy, guidance and advice, the Northern Ireland Civil Contingencies Framework. The page read on 29 October 2026 did not name the Emergency Preparedness Groups.
For a resident in Northern Ireland, the nidirect page on preparing for an emergency is where to start for public advice. Local resilience forums are explained on the who does what page.
