Northumbria Local Resilience Forum

The Northumbria Local Resilience Forum covers the Northumbria area. It is one of three forums the Cabinet Office lists for the North East of England, and the gov.uk list says that forum areas are based on police areas.

Its secretariat sits with Northumbria Police, at Etal Lane Police Station in Newcastle upon Tyne. The forum's web page is on the Northumberland County Council site, northumberland.gov.uk, where it is listed among the council's partners.

The forum publishes a community risk register as a PDF document on that site. The gov.uk entry notes that the Northumbria register was updated in January 2026. A community risk register is the forum's published list of the risks it has identified for its area, so that residents and local organisations can see what is most likely to affect them and prepare for it.

The forum's page on the county council website is where residents of the Northumbria area find local advice on preparing for emergencies. Local resilience forums are explained on the who does what page.
