South Wales Local Resilience Forum

The South Wales Local Resilience Forum covers South Wales. The gov.uk list places it under Wales and gives no further detail of the area; forum areas follow police areas.

The forum's co-ordinator sits with Vale of Glamorgan Council at Wenvoe.

The forum publishes a community risk register. A community risk register is the forum's published list of the risks it has identified for its area, the risks its emergency plans are written against. The gov.uk list gives the forum's website, southwaleslrf.co.uk, as the address for the register too.

The same website is where residents find local advice on preparing for emergencies in South Wales. The gov.uk list also points to the Wales Resilience website at gov.wales for how the Welsh Government, the emergency services, local authorities and health authorities work together. Local resilience forums are explained on the who does what page.
