Thames Valley Local Resilience Forum

The Thames Valley Local Resilience Forum covers the Thames Valley. The gov.uk list places it in the South East and names the area only as Thames Valley; forum areas follow police areas.

The forum's secretariat sits with Thames Valley Police, in its joint operations unit at Headquarters South in Kidlington.

The forum publishes a community risk register on its website, thamesvalleylrf.org.uk. A community risk register is the forum's published list of the risks it has identified for its area, the risks its emergency plans are written against.

The same website is where residents find local advice on preparing for emergencies in the Thames Valley. The details on this page come from the gov.uk list of local resilience forum contact details, which the Cabinet Office last updated on 11 February 2026. Local resilience forums are explained on the who does what page.
