West Midlands Resilience Forum

The West Midlands Resilience Forum is the local resilience forum for the West Midlands conurbation. It is one of four forums the Cabinet Office lists for the West Midlands region, and the gov.uk list says that forum areas are based on police areas. The gov.uk entry calls its website the West Midlands Conurbation LRF website, which separates it from the wider region that also holds the Staffordshire, Warwickshire and West Mercia forums.

Its secretariat sits with West Midlands Police, in Aston, Birmingham. The forum's public website is West Midlands Prepared, at westmidlandsprepared.gov.uk.

The forum publishes a community risk register, which the gov.uk entry links from the same website. A community risk register is the forum's published list of the risks it has identified for its area, so that residents and local organisations can see what is most likely to affect them and prepare for it.

The West Midlands Prepared website is where residents of the conurbation find local advice on preparing for emergencies. Local resilience forums are explained on the who does what page.
